Line 1 – Communication, Image, and Sound

Investigates the fields of image and/or sound in their communicational and artistic expressions in photography, audiovisual media, comics, music, literature, and other forms of language, perceiving them as complex systems from a historical and cultural perspective; problematizes worldviews and subjectivities within these fields; and highlights, among other topics, the production of knowledge, the preservation of memory, and the encouragement of diversity in cosmologies and poetics.
