Studies Communication, its products and/or processes, and their historical, geopolitical, economic, and cultural developments based on the relationships among culture, language, technology, space, time, power, mediations, social uses, and symbolic consumption; it also investigates communication issues related to diversity, sustainability, social equity, public policies, and social and cultural practices.
