Passages Magazine
Founded in 2010, Passagens: Journal of the Post-Graduate Program in Communication at the Federal University of Ceará serves as a forum for debating contemporary media and social transformations. The journal operates on a rolling basis (continuous flow) and allows for the publication of up to two annual thematic dossiers coordinated by guest editors. Its editorial policy, committed to the global democratization of science, offers immediate Open Access to its content and does not charge article processing charges (APCs) at any stage of submission, peer review, or publication. The journal welcomes investigations that explore the dimensions of visuality, sonority, and the materiality of the image, as well as the complex communicative dynamics in socio-cultural practices and the theoretical-methodological rigor of studies applied to journalism. Open to contributions from both national and international researchers, the journal reaffirms its contemporary perspective on Communication, its multiple languages, and its commitment to scientific rigor.
